A few words from Greek winners!

When we first started running the Student Switch Off program with the other ambassadors in our building, the competition aspect was not a priority for us. The environmental issues and especially climate change were and still are to this day, our greater goal. In the end of the first semester however we saw the results about the energy saving in our building, compared to the others of our university and it was the moment when we realized that our passion for the protection of the environment gave us the courage to start something very important which also has a very decent part in the competition.
Considering this as another form of reward to our effort, we decided to take under serious consideration the possibility to win the end-of-the-year prize.
That decision kept us working persistently throughout the year and the results were not only winning the end-of-prize, but also the satisfaction that we achieved to have contributed to the protection of our planet.
