Student Switch Off campaign counts its third year in Lithuania. More and more students from 5 universities and colleges are involved in the energy saving competition. We are proud that our active and responsible partners - the largest Lithuanian education centres: Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Vilnius University, Vilnius University of Applied Engineering Sciences, Klaipeda State College and Vilnius Co-operative College, are trying to save more energy together with students every year.

Traditionally, Student Switch Off campaign started with the Gediminas days event at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU). This year the fair attracted residents of dormitories with a variety of competitions and other interesting activities. Many students promised to save energy and were interested in campaign flyers, T-shirts and, of course, jumpers with Student Switch Off logo. Most attention was paid to the challenge during which the students had to show their creativity and how they are going to save energy while living in the dormitory. After a really intense competition winners were awarded with jumpers and T-shirts.

Throughout the year, together with other partners and students from all over Lithuania, we will try to save more energy and create a better place for living!
