Student Switch Off campaigns have been launching across the participating SAVES universities in the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Greece and Cyprus over the last few weeks - we can't believe that the new academic year is here already! Students across campuses have been trained to become Student Switch Off ambassadors - as part of the training, they learn about the campaign, how to communicate and get their friends involved. It's a great opportunity for them to get some volunteering experience, save some energy and at the same time take postive steps in helping the environment. It also means that when they move into private accommodation, they will get into good energy saving habits. Our training sessions have been going very well, with higher numbers of students attending than in previous years - it's been great to see so many enthusiastic students!

We are looking forward to seeing the impact that our students have this year - lets try to beat the 8.8% saving in energy from last year!
