Another year has started for Student Switch Off in Stockholm!

Another year has started for the Student Switch Off campaign in Stockholm!
September started with small but really exciting events! During our "coffee times" we met and talked with many students that were really enthusiastic about getting informed about the campaign. By the end of September many students had already signed up, and five students expressed their interest in helping our team out by becoming Student Switch Off ambassadors.
However, the exciting part of the campaign started in October when I had my first dorm visits in the three biggest student apartments in Stockholm: Lappis, Kungshamra and Pax. During this time, I had the chance to meet and talk with many students from different countries and with multiple educational backgrounds. On many occassions I had the opportunity to witness the students' excitement to save energy right after my visit. I will always keep in mind the day in Lappis when I talked with all the residents from one corridor and one of them ran straight to the kitchen to turn off the lights. Because as he said, " the competition is on!". It was also with great pleasure to see that many took initiatives and signed up all of their flat mates for the competition! Now that October comes to an end, the photo competition has already started and we all wait with great excitement to see how students will capture their saving energy actions.
